कथं विद्यामहं योगिंस्त्वां सदा परिचिन्तयन्। केषु केषु च भावेषु चिन्त्योऽसि भगवन्मया॥
kathaṁ vidyām ahaṁ yogins tvāṁ sadā parichintayan keṣhu keṣhu cha bhāveṣhu chintyo 'si bhagavan mayā
Meaning
O Yogi, how may I know You by constant meditation? In what various forms should I contemplate You, O Lord?
Arjuna asks the practical question: How do I meditate on You constantly? What forms should I contemplate? This moves from theory to practice. The answer will give specific objects of meditation — aids for maintaining constant divine awareness.
