Chapter 10 • Verse 11
तेषामेवानुकम्पार्थमहमज्ञानजं तमः। नाशयाम्यात्मभावस्थो ज्ञानदीपेन भास्वता॥
teṣhām evānukampārtham aham ajñāna-jaṁ tamaḥ nāśhayāmy ātma-bhāva-stho jñāna-dīpena bhāsvatā
Meaning
Out of compassion for them, I, dwelling within their hearts, destroy the darkness born of ignorance with the shining lamp of knowledge.
The most intimate teaching: God dwells within the heart of His devotees and, from within, illuminates their darkness. The lamp of knowledge shines from inside, not outside. This is grace in action — the Divine personally dispelling ignorance for those who love Him.
